Look who's getting so big!! Its fun to look back at all of her pictures and see the change (especially her size compared to the bear!!)
She is starting to stand on her own by pulling herself up on an object or on us
She loves playing peek a boo by burying her head in her hands or a blanket
Her favorite "game" is when we identify body parts. I say "mommy's eyes, Elsa's eyes; mommy's nose, elsa's nose; mommy's lips, elsa's lips"...and so on. She chuckles everytime I wiggle her ears. So Cute.
We survived her first sickness. Poor 'lil bambino was so congested last week and was running a fever. We did give in and take her to the doctor. Apparently there is a respiratory virus going around. He prescribed her robitussen and sudafed--which helped a little bit. Poor thing didn't want to eat and drinking a bottle was a miserable experience as she couldn't breathe. The only thing that made her happy was cuddling in the rocking chair with mom. I don't think I got a single thing done all last weekend as I took up residence in our recliner. I didn't mind one bit!
Despite our efforts in not allowing her to watch TV, she frequently loves to catch a peek if it is on when we are feeding her. She seems to like the Olympics...maybe we have the next Lindsey Vonn or future winter athlete. I would prefer curling to hockey though.
Raise's her hands above her head when we say "how big is Elsa?....So big"
Loves to imitate us with fake coughing or clicking her tongue
Likes to crawl through things. At least now its through. She would find herself stuck underneath the coffee table or exersaucer and get ticked because she couldn't get out
Is starting to wave goodbye
will have her 3rd transatlantic flight soon
"flirted" with a 9 month old boy in Church this morning
likes to "play" with her friend Linnea...although is learning that swatting at Linnea's head is not enjoyed by the other person. And, will be going on her first cruise in June with Linnea (and us of course)...a 14 day Spainish and Italian Adventure. I am counting the days until I can soak up some sun!
And, she recently graduated to a big kids car seat. I laughed as her PJ's coordinated with the cover of the car seat.
Life is so good.
